It’s been a while since Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to the much loved Breath of the Wild was announced. Yet, with the release getting closer and closer, we didn’t have that much news. It is now done with a good news, a trailer, and a bad news, the increase of the game price !
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom will cost 70€.
As we just told you, the release date of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is fast approaching! We tend to forget that with Hogwarts Legacy breaking all records, but there are only three months left almost to the day before the game is released. So, we were expecting some news with yesterday’s Nintendo Direct.
Except that before the latter gave us any, a disturbing rumor started to spread. According to the latter, the next installment of the adventures of Zelda could have been sold for no less than 80€! A possibility that would bring the price of the next Switch games to the same level as those charged by Microsoft for the Xbox or Sony.
So, the good news is that no Zelda Tears of the Kingdom will not be sold for 80€. However, there will be an increase on this game which will now be sold for 70€ on the Nintendo store. At the same time, a collector’s edition of the game has also been announced. It offers an artbook, a steelbook, a poster and a set of pins in addition to the game for a price of 130€.
In addition to the standard version, a collector's edition of The Legend of #Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will launch on 5/12.

A new trailer to make us wait
Of course, a price increase never feels good. This is even more true for the Switch, which could boast lower prices than Microsoft and Sony consoles. But don’t worry, there was not only bad news about Zelda Tears of the Kingdom shared in this Nintendo Direct!
Indeed, we also had the right to a new trailer! In the latter, we see a Hyrule in a very bad situation with a blood moon that sows chaos and makes hundreds of enemies appear. We are then promised a Ganon at the top of his power, Zelda even doubting our ability to defeat him despite our strength. Moreover, the last seconds of this trailer go in this direction. Answer on May 12th when the game will be released!
