Less than a month is remaining for the Fortnite Chapter 3 season 4. Now the next thing to look for is the upcoming season. We have a lot to learn about this upcoming season, but it may be any of chapter 3, season 5, or chapter 4, season 1. There is a lot of confusion in the gaming world about the current battle pass and the start of a new season. Let’s discuss the major confusions in the gaming world and what we are sure off.

Technically nothing has been officially announced about the new Fortnite season, but we know that the current season will end on the upcoming first weekend of December and will begin after that. i.e., on Sunday, December 4. But there is a big twist this time. Currently, the Heralds Quest timers date is running, and it is expected to end two whole weeks past the end of the current season. This is one odd thing as Herald is part of the current Battle Pass, and up till now, no battle pass has been extended more than its original length.

This might be a typing error on the part of the team, as we have noticed that the season’s end date has been changed from December 3 to December 2. This change of dates has also hinted that the current season will end after a live event. If the Heralds Quest timer was right, then the battle pass end dates would have also changed.

Before launch, players have made speculation about the upcoming launch location, i.e., Asteria. As it has been a record in the past, the season 1 launch location was Athena, Season 2 launch location was Apollo, and season 3, i.e., the current season launch location is Artemis. All of these launch locations are named after greed gods and goddesses, and all of them start with the letter A.

Creative 2.0 is rumored to be finally coming to the new Fortnite season. Epic Games is currently testing the Unreal Editor For Fortnite (UEFN), and it was already expected to release in December, i.e., by the end of 2022. This mode will provide a set of more robust tools, and the players will be able to create a whole game in Fortnite itself. This mode is expected to be such efficient that it would, in the long term, shift Fortnite from a game to a platform.

Many new gameplay mechanics are expected to come, such as motorbikes and rideable skateboards. Another cool thing expected to come next season is the first-person mode. This mode is being waited a lot by players, and this time it’s been expected that the wait is over. But we still don’t know that all these modes are about to come for the new Battle Royale or the upcoming Creators Mode.
